Description

This three-part live masterclass series is organized under the “Building a Network of Women Leaders” project, supported by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The series are specifically designed to prepare women delegates from ITU-D Members, particularly those participating in the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 (WTDC-25), with the confidence, communication, and negotiation skills to thrive in high-stakes global environments.

Tailored for senior professionals working in ICT, telecommunications, and regulatory roles, the program responds directly to a core need identified by members: the ability to elevate public speaking, navigate networks, influence across cultures, and strengthen negotiation strategies.

Building on the momentum of the NoW masterclasses held back-to-back with the Global Symposium for Regulators 2025 (GSR-25) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this training series is highly dynamic, interactive, and immersive. Each session combines proven methodologies with practical, actionable tools that participants can immediately apply  in a variety of contexts. From commanding presence and reducing fear and stress, to increasing clarity, persuasion, and influence, the course equips participants with a holistic communication toolkit:

  • Frameworks to deliver messages with precision and impact.
  • Techniques to strengthen body language and voice for greater presence.
  • Tools to manage emotions, overcome anxiety, and project confidence.
  • Models to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and negotiate outcomes effectively.
  • Self-reflection work that strengthens sense of identity, courage, and resilience.

By the end of the series, participants will have significantly enhanced their ability to embody presence, competence, and confidence, empowering them to advocate powerfully for their organizations and their countries on the global stage.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate executive presence through clear and aligned expression of body language, voice, and tone of messages delivered live and in presentations.
  • Construct succinct and memorable communications when speaking in public or presenting, using proven frameworks that enhance clarity and impact.
  • Experiment with alternative and creative mechanisms of communication to expand comfort zone, and increase personal resonance, authenticity, and impact within your personal leadership style.
  • Apply neuroscience-informed techniques for emotional management during high-stakes scenarios, to reduce fear, manage stress, dissipate anxiety, and amplify impact and results.
  • Assess stakeholder needs and contextual factors to tailor planning, influence, and negotiation strategies in local context.
  • Practice active and empathetic listening techniques to strengthen rapport, trust, and collaboration with international stakeholders.
  • Adopt assertive communication models and coaching frameworks to enhance leadership presence, resilience, and active problem-solving in unilateral, bilateral and multilateral forums.
  • Employ calibrated questions, mirroring, and conversational mapping to influence discussions and guide negotiations toward desired outcomes.
  • Connect with other women professionals and deepen relationships across the network to increase influence currency, visibility, and mutual support.
  • Adopt strategies and tactics to cultivate a resilient mindset and amplify self-belief in professional environments.

The course will provide a holistic toolkit, combining theory and practice, that attendees can adapt to their local needs and context. This includes frameworks to deliver their message (words), enhance their presence (body language), increase the impact of delivery (how they use their voice), and management of emotions to amplify impact, mitigate fear, and reduce stress. Each session will balance short presentations and expert input with interactive activities that enable participants to embody the skills in real time. Participants will engage in:

  • Keynote presentations that outline frameworks, methodologies, and the impact of using them on results.
  • Dynamic interactive exercises to connect to capabilities of expression and influence (including role-play, simulations, and mirroring exercises) to practice skills and expand comfort zones in a safe, supportive environment.
  • Break-out groups and facilitated discussions for applied learning, peer-to-peer coaching, and building a trusted support network.
  • Self-reflection moments and guided prompts to capture key learnings and integrate them into professional practice.
  • Demonstrations and live feedback using digital tools to capture insights and tailor delivery in real time.
  • Post-session assignments to reinforce and amplify skills between modules.
  • Mentoring and peer accountability to sustain growth and encourage practical application beyond the sessions.

This blended approach ensures that participants leave with a visceral experience of applying the tools, data that supports their impact, both approaches and ideas to apply these in their respective professional environments, and an army of women to support them.

Participants will receive a digital badge of completion for each session they attend.
