Can I cancel a payment for a course?

Payment cancellations are subject to the specific terms and conditions or each training organizer. Kindly enquire with the training coordinator for further details. 

What are the accepted payment methods?

Payment methods depend on the training organizer and are specified on each course webpage.

I was selected to a paid course at ITU Academy, how can I proceed with payment?

During the application process for a paid course, you may be asked to indicate whether you will process the payment individually or whether your institution will pay for you. Then you will be asked to submit contact details relevant to the creation of a purchase order and/or invoice. 

Upon acceptance into a course, instructions to proceed with payment are provided through email and available in the “My courses” tab. 

Once payment is received by the training organizer, you will be enrolled and gain access to the course learning materials. Kindly take note of payment deadlines as specified.

As soon as your application has been reviewed, you will receive a notification whether you have been accepted or not. If you are accepted, a payment invoice will be sent to either you or your company contact person, accordingly to what option you selected in the questionnaire.

After the payment of the course fee, your registration will be completed.

Do I have to pay for courses offered in the ITU Academy platform?

The majority of courses on the ITU Academy are free, while some courses are offered for a fee. Prices are indicated on each course webpage and each training organizer is responsible for communicating their payment process to prospective participants as well as collecting their fees. 

How can I find my course once I am registered?

Go to http://academy.itu.int, over on the user icon, click on “Log in” and enter your username and password. 

Once logged in go to the “My courses” page in the same menu and you will find all courses you are enrolled in listed here. 

Click on the course you would like to access. 

Can I enroll for more than one course at a time?

No, you must enroll into each course separately. 

Can I register for courses outside the region where I live?

Yes, unless specified otherwise on the course page, you can register for a course in any region of your choice. 

For the specific case of face-to-face trainings, you may need to cover your travelling and visa costs.

Do I need to create an account on the ITU Academy platform if I am registering for a face-to-face course?

All courses require ITU Academy accounts to share relevant information, host assessments and course evaluation, as well as certification.

How do I create an ITU Academy account?

To register for a course, you need to create an account in the ITU Academy platform.

  1. On the ITU Academy, hover on the user icon in the top right corner.
  2. In the dropdown menu, select "Sign up" or access directly here: https://academy.itu.int/user/register 
  3. You will be redirected to the "Create new account" page.
  4. Fill out the form. Every field with a red asterisk is required.
  5. Fill the captcha and press the “Create new account” button.

Note :

  • You only register once. After registration, a link to create a password will be sent to you.
  • Keep this password and use it for login.
  • You can change your password as you like
