Description
This activity is part of a capacity building partnership between ITU and ITSO for the delivery of satellite communications training and will include the following topics : Basics of satellite communications Policy and regulatory guidelines for satellite services Radio Regulations related to satellite orbit and spectrum resources Network planning and link budget analysis Earth station and VSAT system Radio Regulations related to earth station coordination and registration. This instructor-led online course is addressed to policy makers, regulators and operators in the ICTs sector as well as regional and international satellite communications organizations and operators.
Registration information
Unless specified otherwise, all ITU Academy training courses are open to all interested professionals, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, economic status and other diverse backgrounds. We strongly encourage registrations from female participants, and participants from developing countries. This includes least developed countries, small island developing states and landlocked developing countries.
