Description

This training course is by invitation only.

This instructor-led training course, Strategic Foresight 201, is all about helping acceleration centres understand how to plan for the future in a digital world. It focuses on trends in research readiness and is based on the Playbook for Strategic Foresight by the ITU/BDT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance for Digital Development.  Equipped with hypothetical case studies, this course is designed to speed up the change to digital technology, encourage new ideas, and support national growth goals.

In a world where things change quickly, being able to predict how technology, policies, and innovations will change is important. Strategic Foresight 201 trains participants how to use tools and methods to stay ahead of these changes. Whether you work in policymaking, business, or another industry, this course gives you the skills you need to plan for the future. Through easy-to-follow online lessons and activities, you'll learn how to identify upcoming trends, understand their impact, and use strategic foresight to drive innovation in your own settings.

By recognizing the value of strategic foresight processes, participants of this course gain insights to drive meaningful change in their projects, policies, and strategies, ultimately contributing to the realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
