Th ITU Asia-Pacific Centre of Excellence (ITU ASP CoE) Programme on "Internet and IPv6 Infrastructure Security? for the Asia-Pacific Region will be conducted from 14 to 18 May 2018. This training is organized jointly by the ITU, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (Thailand) and the APNIC as part of the Broadband Access programme under the auspices of the ITU ASP COE. The training will be delivered in English at TOT Academy, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
This programme aims to
? build knowledge of policy makers, regulators, telecom operators, and enterprise network administrators on deployment and management of Internet and IPv6 network infrastructure,
? provide information on Internet infrastructure security, particularly focusing on similarities and differences between IPv4 and IPv6 when it comes to network infrastructure security, and
? build skills on how to mitigate IPv6 Internet infrastructure security threat with demonstration of network configurations, and some hands-on exercises.

This training is targeted at managers, engineers and technical staff from regulators, policy makers, telecom operators and academia, who are interested in Internet and IPv6 infrastructure security issues. Registration for this program should be made online at the aforementioned link no later than 1 May 2018. The training is available free of charge.
