Description
The training workshop is part of a capacity building partnership entered into between ITU and ITSO for the delivery of satellite communications training. This training will be facilitated by two experts with extensive experience in satellite communications and will be delivered in English.
The following topics will be addressed:
⢠Basics of satellite communications;
⢠Policy and regulatory guidelines for satellite services;
⢠Network planning and link budget analysis;
⢠VSAT installation and maintenance;
⢠VSAT Equipment and bandwidth procurement;
⢠Radio regulations.

Unless specified otherwise, all ITU Academy training courses are open to all interested professionals, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, economic status and other diverse backgrounds. We strongly encourage registrations from female participants, and participants from developing countries. This includes least developed countries, small island developing states and landlocked developing countries.
