Description
This self-paced training course offers a comprehensive introduction to the Registration Building Block, designed for individuals involved in advancing digital transformation and promoting efficient and inclusive registration processes in government services. Focused on the principles of identity management, user accessibility, and data accuracy, the course highlights the critical role of registration systems in enabling seamless onboarding and authentication within digital public infrastructure (DPI).
Through 7 interactive modules, participants explore key concepts, tools, and practical methodologies needed to design, implement, and manage the Registration Building Block. The course emphasizes the importance of user-friendly registration workflows, data validation, and identity verification, ensuring that participants understand how to create and support inclusive, secure, and interoperable registration systems that cater to government services, private sector organizations, and development partners.
Participants will develop essential skills to design and integrate registration systems into cross-government services, enabling seamless citizen onboarding, account creation, and identity verification. Learners will also gain insights into identity management best practices, data protection laws, and compliance with international privacy and security standards required to protect user information while enabling safe, real-time access to public services.
By mastering the core principles of the Registration Building Block, participants are empowered to drive inclusive service delivery and build secure, efficient, and people-centric registration systems. This course supports the realization of sustainable, accessible, and user-friendly digital ecosystems, promoting the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to legal identity for all, digital inclusion, and citizen empowerment.
Policymakers, decision-makers in public and private sectors, digital transformation specialists, IT professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, and industry professionals seeking to enhance interoperability, secure data exchange, and drive digital public infrastructure development.
Qualifications or experience needed to participate in this training course:
No prior knowledge or qualification required. This course is open to all interested digital services.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
