Description

This e-learning training course on GovStack Identity Building Block Specifications offers a detailed look into the principles, technical specifications, and practical strategies for developing digital identity systems in government settings. Participants will learn about key protocols, standards, and best practices, and explore real-world use cases that improve service delivery and citizen interaction. The course also covers essential security and privacy considerations to ensure compliance with international standards and provides insights into future trends in digital identity. Through interactive modules and practical examples, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to effectively design, implement, and manage digital identity systems in the public sector.

Government officials and policymakers seeking to modernize public services. IT professionals and digital transformation experts in the public sector. Students and researchers interested in governance, public administration, and digital innovation.

No prior knowledge or qualification required. This course is open to all interested digital services.

At the end of this online, self-paced training course, learners will be able to:

  • Define Identity Building Block (IDBB) and its applications
  • Understand the components, purposes, and user-centric principles of the IDBB
  • Explain data structures within IDBB

This is an online, self-paced course where participants mainly self-study the material provided. The material uses various real life use cases/case studies as well as visual illustrations to understand the material. The understanding of the material will be tested at the end with a summative assessment.

Quiz at the end of the below mentioned modules. Each quiz has 5 questions each. To pass a quiz the learner must attain a minimum of 80%. To finish the course the learner must pass all 5 quizzes. These quizzes are based on the content of the modules in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and after each question is attempted feedback is given to the learner about whether the answer is correct or incorrect. In the case of an incorrect answer the correct answer is given to the learner.

Quiz 1 - Purpose 20%

Quiz 2 – Key Digital Functionalities and Functional Requirements 20%

Quiz 3 – Data Structures  20%

Quiz 4 – Service APIs, Workflows and Infrastructure Considerations 20%

Quiz 5 – Use Cases 20%

A total score of 80% or higher is required to obtain the ITU digital badge.
