Description

This self-paced training course offers a comprehensive introduction to the Payment Building Block (PBB), designed for individuals involved in advancing digital transformation and promoting financial interoperability in government services. Focused on the principles of secure, efficient, and inclusive payment processes, the course highlights the vital role of payment systems in enabling seamless financial transactions within digital public infrastructure (DPI).

Through 7 interactive modules, participants explore key concepts, tools, and practical methodologies needed to design, implement, and manage the Payment Building Block. The course emphasizes the importance of cashless payments, real-time settlements, and financial inclusion, ensuring that participants understand how to create and support interoperable payment ecosystems that cater to diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, financial institutions, and the private sector.

Participants will develop essential skills to integrate the Payment Building Block into cross-government services, facilitating smooth and transparent transactions for citizens, businesses, and other stakeholders. Learners will also gain insights into payment security, data privacy, and compliance standards, which are crucial for protecting sensitive financial information.

By mastering the core principles of the Payment Building Block, participants are empowered to drive inclusive financial transformation and build efficient, secure, and people-centric payment systems. This course supports the realization of sustainable, accessible, and transparent digital ecosystems, promoting the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to financial inclusion and economic growth.

Policymakers, decision-makers in public and private sectors, digital transformation specialists, IT professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, and industry professionals seeking to enhance interoperability, secure data exchange, and drive digital public infrastructure development.
