Description
This training course aims to introduce participants to advantages and disadvantages of GPON and GEPON technologies, practice examples of implementation passive optical GPON and GEPON networks in broadband access network.
Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills on determining of the optical power budget and the subscribers number calculation of the GPON and GEPON network. Examples of the equipment and cables implementation for GPON and GEPON networks will also be given.

Unless specified otherwise, all ITU Academy training courses are open to all interested professionals, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, economic status and other diverse backgrounds.
