Description

The online training course on âSpectrum Engineering and IMT2020â is scheduled to be held from from 1st to 19th July 2019. This course is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union and the State Radio Monitoring Center (SRMC) Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) China, as part of the Spectrum Management programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for Asia-Pacific region. The training will be delivered in English through the ITU Academy Platform. This online training course aims to introduce participants to concepts of spectrum engineering and will focus on the following key areas: 1. Spectrum Engineering fundamentals and Type approval 2. IMT2020 (5G) research and updates Detailed information on this training course is described in the course outline which can be downloaded from the ITU Academy Portal at the following link http://academy.itu.int/. The course is targeted at staff from policy makers, regulators, corporate executives and managers, i.e. mid to senior level managers, administrators and officials dealing with Spectrum Management and Monitoring. The course is offered free of charge and registration should be made online at the aforementioned link no later than 26th June 2019. Registration information

Unless specified otherwise, all ITU Academy training courses are open to all interested professionals, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, economic status and other diverse backgrounds. We strongly encourage registrations from female participants, and participants from developing countries. This includes least developed countries, small island developing states and landlocked developing countries.
