Description
The online training course on âIoT Security Challenges and Solutionsâ for the Asia-Pacific Region will be conducted from 26 August â 6 September 2019. This course is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union and the IoT Academy as ITU Centres of Excellence in priority area of Internet of Things for Asia-Pacific region. The training will be delivered in English through the ITU Academy Platform. This online training course aims to introduce participants to Internet of Things (IoT) Security topics as well as the fundamental building blocks of IoT. It will focus on topics that address security considerations for IoT embedded system design and development, IoT network engineering, IoT platform, IoT applications development and integrated IoT system. This online course also provides examples on IoT security challenges and solutions for some IoT Verticals such as Smart healthcare, Smart Agriculture and Smart City.

Unless specified otherwise, all ITU Academy training courses are open to all interested professionals, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, economic status and other diverse backgrounds. We strongly encourage registrations from female participants, and participants from developing countries. This includes least developed countries, small island developing states and landlocked developing countries.
