Description

The Online training course on Building IoT Solutions for Energy and Water Resource Management will be conducted from 16 Dec to 27 Dec 2019. This training is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union and the IoT Academy as part of the Internet of Things programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for Asia-Pacific region. The training will be delivered in English.

This Online training course aims to introduce participants to Internet of Things (IoT) concept, pillars, trend, market, architecture and IoT verticals related to energy and water. It will focus on topics that address IoT usage for supply management, IoT solutions for energy resource management and IoT solutions for water resource management. Detailed information on this training course is described in the course outline (Annex 1 attached), which can be downloaded from the ITU Academy Portal at the following link https://academy.itu.int/.

The course is targeted at organizations, industries, IT professionals, ICT engineers, policy makers, regulators, service & solution providers and academia, who are interested in understanding the IoT solutions for energy and water resource management. Other institutions and individuals that are interested in building their capacity in this field are also welcomed to participate in this training program.

Unless specified otherwise, all ITU Academy training courses are open to all interested professionals, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, economic status and other diverse backgrounds. We strongly encourage registrations from female participants, and participants from developing countries. This includes least developed countries, small island developing states and landlocked developing countries.
