The face-to-face training course on âTraffic engineering and advanced wireless network planningâ will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 30 September to 3 October, 2019. This training is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (Thailand) and the Wireless Communication Centre, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as part of the Wireless and Fixed Broadband programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for Asia-Pacific. The training will be delivered in English.
The training course is designed to
⢠build knowledge of policy makers, regulators and telecom operators in the areas of 4G, 5G and IoT ecosystem and related network planning,
⢠share best practices on traffic engineering and network planning in evolving scenario, and
⢠build skills on how to develop a roadmap for 5G and IoT.

This training targets executives, managers, engineers and staff from regulators, policy makers, ICT agencies, service providers, academia and government organizations dealing with advanced wireless and traffic network planning. For draft agenda and training details, please refer to Annex 1.
