Description
The latest 4G radio mobile network generation is now widely deployed in the world. 4G technologies enable higher speed mobile access and many applications for the general public as well as for operators. This course aims at examining the fundamentals of these generations and the evolution of their architectures and techniques. It includes the air interface, the protocol architecture and the different entities in the 4G network. Finally, the evolution toward 5G is presented by emphasizing the new features to be implemented.
