Description

The face-to-face training course on âHuman Exposure to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fieldsâ will be held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia from 3-5 December 2019. This training is organised jointly by the International Telecommunication Union and the Wireless Communication Centre, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as part of the Wireless and Fixed Broadband programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for Asia-Pacific. The training will be delivered in English.

The course aims to equip participants with an understanding of the effect of radio frequency electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure to human and its relation to body tissue dielectric parameters and frequency. The course will also discuss related recommendations and policies as well as recent studies on the effect of EMF exposure to human. In addition, case study of public education campaigns will also be covered in the course. This training is targeted at executives, managers, officials, engineers, employees from policy makers, regulators, government organisation, telecom operators, vertical industries, telecom investment companies, researchers, and academia.
