ITU certificates are released after the validation of the End of Training report.
ITU certificates are signed by the relevant bureau or regional Director and are available in English, Spanish and French.
If the course has one or more delivery partners, a mention of their involvement and their logo, as well as a signature, can be added on the certificate following the requirements in the table below and after having obtained the partner’s agreement.
Adding partners’ logos is not a regular practice and must be justified. A logo and signature on a certificate means that:
- the organisation was fully engaged in training the person who is receiving the certificate
- the organisation can validate that indeed the person took the course and met all the requirements
- the organisation can validate that the individual was assessed under appropriate conditions and passed the assessment
- the organisation takes full responsibility for the quality of the delivery of the course and can address all appeals made relating to the quality, delivery mechanisms, assessment and grading of the course, should any participant wish to appeal.
