Why is there a quality assurance process?
As part of the wider ITU commitment to ensuring excellence in training, all ITU Academy courses go through a quality assurance process. This guarantees that training materials are developed in line with the highest learning industry standards and aligned to ITU’s mandate.
The process below contains both an instructional design perspective, handled by the ITU Academy, as well as a content perspective, handled by ITU subject-matter expert teams.
This step will ensure that your course meets high-quality training standards from the outset and avoids delays later during the course development.
The ITU Academy team coordinates and supports the quality assurance process. The following elements should be sent for review:
- Training outline (mandatory)
- Instructor-led materials (upon request): PPT, assessments etc.
- Storyboards of self-paced courses (mandatory): before they are put into e-learning format.
