Step 7: Course set up

When courses are set up correctly, more participants complete them

Your course page should be user-friendly and organized. This preparation ensures smooth navigation for participants and will contribute to a higher completion rate.

This step is normally the responsibility of the instructor, under the supervision of the coordinator.

In order to set up a course, you need to:

  1. Create the structure and upload materials,
  2. Set up the grading: at the level of each activity,
  3. Test your course.

The ITU Academy team will in turn:

  1. Import course content if the course is being repeated from a past iteration,
  2. Set up the evaluation form,
  3. Set up the overall gradebook of the course and passing requirements,
  4. Test your course.

This process should be completed before the course starts.
