Badges, used mostly in online self-paced courses running all year, are issued digitally once participants have completed all the course requirements.
Badges were created by ITU branding services (COMPO) for each division in BDT and are customized with each course title.
For courses of other ITU bureaus or external partners, new badges can be designed. ITU course coordinators should follow the normal COMPO process, cc ituacademy@itu.int.
Badges contain a visual element, containing the course title which can be used to be shared on social media. Badges contain meta-data identifying the participant, the requirements for completing the course and other relevant information. Due to the lack of space on the visual element, logos are never added on badges, rather any partners should be clearly mentioned in the accompanying text.
