The course, "Role of ICT in Disaster Management," is structured to illuminate the pivotal role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the spectrum of disaster management phasesâmitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Encompassing a well-rounded curriculum, this course delves into Disaster Management (DM) Framework, including regulatory, legal, and policy frameworks that enable the use of technologies for DM, and the roles and responsibilities of each of administration involved in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) at the country level.
This comprehensive training program is tailored to provide attendees with practical analyst skills in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) using MISP - one of the most widely used Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) platform in the field. MISP is a powerful open-source threat intelligence platform organizations can use to store, share and receive information about malware, threats, and vulnerabilities in a structured way.
The course aim is to: - Clarify organizations responsible to set the standards and mechanisms established by national authorities to enforce mandatory standards. - Help self-monitoring of players in order to conform to set standards and those of the regulator. - Analyze the available penalties for contravening the set standards. - Ensure the participants differentiate the different roles undertaken by various players in the field. - Assess cases for licensing based on pre-established set of standards.
The summer school is a university-level course of one week, which takes place in the Netherlands, between 1-5 July 2024. The summer school aims at introducing the topics of sustainable digital transformation through different sub-topics, including but not limited to digital emerging technologies, digital farming and e-waste management. The summer school will allow participants to become familiar to the jargon surrounding digital transformation and sustainability issues through lectures and interactive sessions.
