Description
The online training course on âNext Generation Broadband Network: Design, Implementation & Applicationsâ for the Asia-Pacific Region to be conducted from 25 November â 20 December 2019. This course is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union and the Advanced Level Telecom Training Centre as ITU Centres of Excellence in priority area of Wireless and Fixed Broadband for Asia-Pacific region. This online training course aims to equip participants with an understanding of next generation broadband access network (copper based, fibre based, BBoPL etc.); strategic planning to capture and retain market; broadband core network elements, connectivity, integration to ISP MPLS core network, end to end data flow; fibre based broadband access network technologies (e.g. FTTH, GPON, GEPON); and wireless broadband technologies (e.g. HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, LTE / LTE-A, 5G/IMT 2020 and IEEE technologies e.g. Wi-Fi & Wi-Max).
