The aim of this course is to introduce learners to the concepts of opportunistic spectrum access in it's different variants (overlay and underlay) and identify spectrum sensing techniques and different approaches used to exploit White spaces, as well as to learn the current regulations about Cognitive Radio and White Spaces.
This course explains the linkages of ICT with the development of the Digital Economy and the need for appropriate policy and regulatory framework for developing the ICT Sector in any country.
This course focuses on Wireless Access Technologies to Internet Network including technical, business and regulatory aspects. It includes wireless and mobile evolutions including mobility approaches by IETF and 3GPP, 4G access technologies by 3GPP (LTE/LTE-Advanced), as well as Evolved Packet Core (EPC). The course also covers the main 5G technology accepted by the ITU umbrella IMT-2020, 5G New Radio (5G NR) and 5G Core, as well as WiFi access technologies from the IEEE.
This course will equip attendees with practical analyst skills in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) using MISP, one of the most widely used Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP) in the industry. MISP is a powerful, open-source platform that organizations can use to store, share, and receive structured information about malware, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Participants will explore the rationale behind various analyst tasks and engage in real-world scenarios to see how responder teams effectively utilize CTI through MISP.

This course will focus on 5G-Advanced Mobile Broadband and Future Services, including technologies, regulation and business aspects. It will cover mobile broadband evolution, from IMT-Advanced (4G) to IMT-2020 (5G) and IMT-2030 (6G).
This hands-on training program is designed to equip attendees from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) with practical analysis skills using MISP, one of the most widely adopted Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP) in the field. MISP is a robust, open-source platform that organizations can use to store, share, and receive information about malware, threats, and vulnerabilities in a structured manner. Training will be delivered under the Cyber for Good project.

This five-day training course is primarily based on the ITU/World Bank digital regulation platform and the ITU FCDO universal access and service financing efficiency toolkit with a focus on the following aspects: digital transformation strategies, regulatory governance, evidence-based decision-making, regulatory sandboxes, competition and economics (market analysis), infrastructure sharing and universal access and service financing efficiency.
