Quality assurance of training course content by ITU experts

As described in detail in the ITU Capacity Development Manual here, when reviewing training outlines (or materials, if required), ITU subject-matter experts should provide feedback on:

  • Relevance to ITU mandate
  • Membership relevance
  • Course description
  • Factual accuracy
  • Additional topics to be considered

In reviewing the material, ITU subject matter experts should provide timely feedback, collaborate across sectors when necessary, and ensure the confidentiality of the content is preserved. Reviewers should be held responsible and accountable for approving the content of the course training outline. In the event the subject matter experts is unable to provide any comments on the proposed training within the specified timeframe, it shall be assumed that they have no objections to the proposed training course, and the training shall proceed as proposed.
