The 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the ITU CIS Centres of Excellence took place on 24 November 2016 in Odessa, Ukraine. This meeting was organized by ITU with support of The Alexander Popov Odessa National Academy of Telecommunications (ONAT).

The 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the ITU Asia-Pacific Centres of Excellence was held in Shenzhen, China, from 7 - 8 December 2016. This meeting was kindly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, People's Republic of China.

The 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the ITU Americas Centres of Excellence Network was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 13 to 15 December 2016. This meeting was kindly hosted by Universidad Nacional de la Plata (UNLP) in close collaboration with the Ministry of Communications of Argentina.

The 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the ITU Europe Centres of Excellence took place on 17 January 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting was organized by the ITU and hosted by the European Communications Office. The meeting was held back-to-back with the meeting of the CEPT Com-ITU.

The 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the Centres of Excellence for Africa was held at Azalaï Hotel, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire from 8 to 10 November 2017. The meeting was kindly hosted by the African Higher School of Information and Communication Technologies.

The 4th Steering Committee meeting of the ITU Arab CoEs Network was held in Hammamet, Tunisia, from 13 to 14 November 2017. This meeting was kindly hosted by the Centre d'Etudes et de Recherche des Télécommunications (CERT) and was held back to back with the 15th ITU World Telecommunication/ICT Indicators Symposium (WTIS) 14-16 November, 2017.

The 4th Steering Committee meeting of the ITU Americas Centres of Excellence Network was held in Lima, Peru from 28 to 29 November 2017. This meeting was kindly hosted by the Instituto Nacional de Investigacion y Capacitacion de Telecomunicaciones de la Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria de Peru and in close collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation and Communication of Peru and the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (OSIPTEL). 

The 4th Steering Committee meeting of the ITU Europe Centres of Excellence took place on 12 December 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting was organized by ITU and hosted by the European Communications Office. The meeting was held back-to-back with the meeting of the CEPT Com-ITU.
