Bridge the Digital Divide Sierra Leone (BDD-SL), the DTC in Sierra Leone, conducted a digital literacy training programme targeting citizens with very little to no digital skills competencies.
From 8 to 12 September 2025, the Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA), the DTC in Rwanda, organised a 5-day digital literacy training programme for citizens, with support from ITU and Norway through the project “Boosting digital skills through Digital Transformation Centres”.
From July to September 2025, the DTC in Senegal (Concept) successfully rolled out a basic digital skills training programme for citizens, with support from ITU and Norway through the project “Boosting digital skills through Digital Transformation Centres”.
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is supporting DTCs to implement a scalable, adaptable, and low-cost impact assessment methodology designed to address these barriers.
