DTC Trinidad and Tobago at a glance
The Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence (MPAAI) is spearheading the digital transformation in Trinidad and Tobago, combining policy innovation, technology deployment and digital skills development. Central to this effort is the free digital skills programme WeLearnTT, which provides no-cost training, mentorship and ICT access, including for seniors and youth, to narrow the digital skills gap and foster inclusive participation in the digital economy.
MPAAI joined the DTC Initiative as DTC Trinidad and Tobago in November 2025. By aligning with the Initiative’s mandate of building the digital skills and capacities of citizens and ensuring that no one is left behind, WeLearnTT demonstrates MPAAI’s commitment to equipping all citizens with the competencies needed to engage in a fully digital society.
