This second issue of the Capacity Building in a Changing ICT Environment publication features contributions from international experts on the subject of skills development in a digital era in an analytical, critical and conceptual approach. The articles highlight specific topics such as cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), quality of service, big data, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related skills requirements.
The ITU online publication “Capacity Building in a Changing ICT Environment”, which is released annually, puts together scholarly articles with a focus on the human and institutional aspects of capacity building in the telecommunications/ICT sector. It covers a wide range of ICT topics that may affect people and their skills development.
The International Telecommunications Union [ITU] convened a workshop on Digital Marketing at Azalai Hotel, Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from 6th to 7th November 2017. The Workshop was kindly hosted by Ecole Superieure Africaine des TIC [ESATIC]. The Workshop was attended by 15 participants from 3 ITU CoEs in Africa. The workshop was facilitated by Mr Vikus Van de Merwe from Human Capacity Business Solutions (HCBS) ICT Learning Academy.
