Papua New Guinea University of Technology (PNGUoT, or UNITECH) is the only technological university in the country. UNITECH joined the Initiative in January 2020. The digital skills training covers basic-level topics delivered face-to-face in the university premises in Lae City, as well as through the network of satellite campuses based in the remote areas of the country. It works closely with District Administrators and community leaders as they implement trainings throughout the country, bolstered by the support and backing of the National Information and Communications Technology Authority (NICTA).
