Description

the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (Thailand) and the National Information Society Agency (Republic of Korea) as part of the ICT Applications training programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for the Asia-Pacific region. The training will be delivered in English.
The training course is designed to
⢠provide an overview of artificial intelligence;
⢠build knowledge on deep learning, trends in artificial intelligence including applications and use cases;
⢠develop an understanding of the impact of AI on economy and society; and
⢠trends on AI policy, regulation and governance.

This training is targeted at at executives, managers, engineers and staff from regulators, policy makers, ICT agencies, service providers, academia and government organizations dealing with artificial intelligence. For draft agenda and training details, please refer to Annex 1. To register for this training, participants should register online on the ITU Academy platform at http://academy.itu.int/, latest by 31st August 2019.

There is no training fee for this course. However, participants are expected to cover their own costs of transport, stay, meals, insurance, incidentals etc. Additional information on this training course, such as an information note for participants, including a list of recommended hotels, is also available on the ITU Academy Portal at http://academy.itu.int/ and http://www.itu.int/itu-d/asp.
