The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) is an agency of the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation of Ghana. Through their six training programmes targeting students, youth, women entrepreneurs, schoolteachers, persons with disability and artisans, GIFEC is delivering training covering basic and intermediate digital skills. GIFEC has the capacity to reach communities across the country mainly through its 200 community centres, zonal offices and partnerships with local institutions.

GIFEC joined the DTC Initiative in January 2020. So far it has provided training at 157 training centres focused on basic and intermediate digital skills. Local female entrepreneurs have also learned how to use social media to promote their business.
