Description
This course enables participants with theoretical and practical knowledge related to IPv6. The aim of this training is to explain the operation of the Protocol and its practical application, both at the network layer and application layer.
This training ensures the participants will understand IPv6 deployment process, such as:
- Requesting IPv6 addresses from your RIR;
- Creating an Address plan for your network;
- Configure routing protocols needed to have internal and external connectivity (OSPFv3, BGP);
- Configure hots on the LAN;
- configure most common services over IPv6, including DNS (Bind), HTTP server (Apache) and FTP;
- Fundamentals about the challenges of IPv6 security and how to mitigate them.
