This course is by invitation only! The ITU Training of Trainers for Educators on Child Online Protection (COP) aims to give participants a fundamental understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an educator in relation to training methods and meeting the needs of learners.
Cyber security exercises are a very effective way of learning the practical aspects of information security. But designing such exercises is not an easy task. This course provides a number of steps and guidelines that should be followed when designing a cyber exercise. The steps include: defining the objectives, choosing an approach, designing network topology, creating a scenario, establishing a set of rules, choosing appropriate metrics and learning lessons. This 3 days training course examines the key elements required to develop Cyber Disaster Response Simulation exercises.
Cybersecurity is a complex challenge that encompasses multiple different governance, policy, operational, technical and legal aspects. This training provides general knowledge to address, organise and prioritise many of these areas based on existing and well-recognised models, frameworks and other references. The training focuses on elements for protecting civilian aspects of cyberspace and as such, it covers the overarching principles and good practice that need to be considered in the process of drafting, developing and managing a National Cybersecurity Strategy.
