Three manuals have been developed to guide users of the ITU Academy Platform, to help them understand the platform and its functionalities, their access rights, as well as their roles and responsibilities.
New communities have been created in the ITU Academy for the Steering Committees of the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in each region. This feature has been introduced as part of the action items from the Second Steering Committee meetings held between November 2015 and January 2016.

The regional workshop on the role of Human Resources in the migration to Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting (DTTB) and the development of the digital Economy was officially opened on the 14th September 2015, by Mr. Bile Diemeleou, representing the Minister of Posts and Information Technology and Director General, Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications de la Côte d’Ivoire (ARTICI).
E-learning course main objectives are to introduce the structures, management, coordination mechanisms and operating procedures of ITU-T study groups as defined in Recommendation ITU-T A.1. Recommendation ITU-T A.1 describes general work methods for ITU-T study groups. It provides guidelines related to work methods, such as the conduct of meetings, preparation of studies, management of study groups, the role of Rapporteurs and the processing of ITU-T contributions and temporary documents.
The Annual Regional Workshop on Human Capacity Development for African Countries is organised by the ITU as part of the mandate of the BDT to strengthen human and institutional capacities among Member States. The theme for this regional workshop is the result of consultations with members, in view of the June 17th, 2015 deadline for the migration from analogue to digital broadcasting.

A face-to-face training on “Satellite Communications” for English Speaking Countries in Africa was held in Nairobi, Kenya from 8th to 12th June 2015.
