This course is primarily based on the ITU/World Bank digital regulation platform with a focus on the following aspects: digital transformation strategies, regulatory governance, evidence-based decision making, regulatory sandboxes, competition and economics (market analysis), infrastructure sharing, universal access and service financing efficiency, data and consumer protection, cyber-security and resilience regulatory measures and strategies, and emerging technologies regulatory aspects.

Los mismos se producen por factores internos que van desde el crecimiento desorganizado y la complejidad de los sistemas, hasta cambios en la coyuntura externa como la evolución tecnológica y las revoluciones sociales y/o políticas.

Cloud has become an important factor to realize innovation in government. In this context, government should introduce Cloud in gove rnment to government (G2G) and government for citizen (G4C) services to ensure effective and citizen-centered government. In this course, understanding of cloud technology, cases of Cloud policies in major countries and key issues when introducing Cloud to public services will be covered. This course does not cover the detailed cloud techniques.

In this context, this course covers understanding of data-based administration, cases of data-bases policies in major countries and major issues of data-based government.

Smart Islands is a Programme that adopts an innovative approach to deliver connectivity and scalable and sustainable services to dis advantaged island communities. The Smart Islands Programme aims at transforming rural and coastal communities and improving their well-being and livelihood by connecting them to a range of digitally enabled services. Considering the IoT and Blockchain solutions as key elements of digital transformation can help to achieve the goals of smart islands.

This bootcamp is for winners of the ATU/ITU Innovation Challenges - Best Ecosystems Practices Enabling Youth ICT Innovation in Africa. Ten winners will go through this bootcamp and refine their ideas and develop improved projects.
