Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications, Posts and the Digital Economy (MCTPEN), Senegal
Mr. Babou Sarr holds a Master's degree in Physics, Electronics Option at the Faculty of Science and Technology of FES, Morocco. He also obtained the Certificate of Aptitude for Secondary Education (CAES) at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Dakar, conferring on him the function of Professor of Physical Sciences of High Schools in Senegal. After a career in secondary education, he entered the Multinational School of Dakar (ESMT) and obtained the Engineering Degree in 2003, to gain another professional experience in Telecommunications / ICT. Mr. Sarr is Departmental Technical Advisor to the Ministry in charge of Digital Economy in Senegal since August 2016. Prior to this post, he held the position of a Senior Lecturer, Head of the Digital Services and Utilities Office at the ICT Directorate in the same Ministry. Mr. Sarr is currently completing a professional Master degree in Telecommunications / ICT Management at ESMT Dakar.
