New communities have been created in the ITU Academy for the Steering Committees of the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in each region. This feature has been introduced as part of the action items from the Second Steering Committee meetings held between November 2015 and January 2016.
The communities are virtual spaces that provide the opportunity for members of the Steering Committees to engage in discussions, share important information and files, as well as schedule events.
The Human Capacity Building focal points have been given the access rights to manage these communities, and to invite new members.
In total there are 7 communities, 6 for each region and one global community that comprises members of all CoE Steering Committees. The global community will allow its members to communicate frequently, discuss issues common to all CoEs as well as share and learn from experiences across different regions.
