We are now living in an era where a global crisis such as the COVID19 pandemic can severely impact our society and economy. In an effort to build back better, we need to consider these challenges and consider issues that will impact the future generation such as sustainability and green technology when constructing the new normal.
The concept of ubiquitous broadband should take into account the available resources and technology development that are available today to support the connectivity of future generations.
Development of standards, monitoring of Quality of Service and concepts and technological aspects of mobile broadband technologies such as LTE advanced, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA++,5G, 5G-NR, Wireline Next Generation Broadband Network Architecture and microwave broadband technology will be discussed to support ubiquitous broadband for future generations.
