The face-to-face training course on âCyber Security for Enterprisesâ to be held at ALTTC, India from 10th to 15th October 2019. The training is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union and Advanced Level Telecom Training Centre (ALTTC) as part of the Cyber Security training programme under the auspices of the ITU Centre of Excellence for Asia-Pacific region. The training will be delivered in English.

The training course is designed to enhance the understanding of participants on cybersecurity concepts, network architecture and components, regulatory aspects of cybersecurity, understanding vulnerabilities persevering in networks & its components, risk analysis and security mechanism, and the need of securing IT elements. The training will enable the participants to understand and appreciate the cybersecurity issues and challenges, authentication procedure, ciphering, algorithm etc. with the help of case studies, discussions, as well as demonstration of tools & techniques to avoid cyber-attacks. Detailed information of this training program is described in the training outline (Annex-I).

This training targets executives, managers, engineers and technical staff from regulators, policy makers, telecom operators, academia and other institutions. To register for this training, participants are requested to complete the registration online on ITU Academy portal (https://academy.itu.int/) latest by 5th October 2019.
