ITU Asia-Pacific Centres of Excellence (CoE) Training on Applications on Cloud Computing

Brief Description
The International Telecommunication Union, Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam and Viettel are organising a training on “Applications on Cloud Computing”, under the framework of ITU Asia-Pacific Centres of Excellence (ITU ASP CoE). The training will take place from 7 to 8 November 2012 at Hotel Crown Plaza West Hanoi, Vietnam in Hanoi, Vietnam.
This Training is addressed to staff from policy makers, regulators, corporate executives and managers, i.e. middle-level managers, administrators and officials dealing with applications on Cloud Computing. There is no training fee for this course. However, the travel arrangements, accommodation and all other expenses should be made and borne by the participating Administration.

Objective: To provide a definition of “Cloud Computing” and an overview of its history of development.

Objective: To introduce the basics of cloud computing, shared tools, platform and technology availability, resource optimization, SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, IaaS and models
