The ITU Asia Pacific Centre of Excellence hosted a training workshop on ''Converged IP Network Technologies'' from 15-17 February 2012 in New Delhi, India.The training workshop was organized by the ITU Telecom Regulatory Authority of India and Pusan National University (Republic of Korea).The event was attended by 54 high level delegates 26 of whom were from different countries of the Asia Pacific region and 28 from India.
The workshop was opened by Mr.Rajeev Agrawal - Secretary TRAI while Prof.Yoo Shin Kim from Pusan National University and Mr.Ashish Narayan from ITU gave welcoming remarks. The training workshop was addressed by experts from ITU,TRAI, SK Telecom, Ericsson, CISCO, Bharti Telecom, British Telecom, BSNL, PLDT (Philippines), Nokia Siemens Networks, Analysis Mason, Telecom Engineering Centre (DOT, Government of India) and the World bank.
